Hallowe’en is EXTRA spook–tacular this year with the brand new Hallowe’en Costume Contest at Dynamic Earth!

Visit Dynamic Earth from 7-8pm on Sunday, October 27th for a chance to win great prizes. There will be prizes for different age categories (0-6 and 7-13) plus everyone that comes will be entered into a draw for a Nintendo Switch and there will be extra giveaways for everyone! Please note that admission to Dynamic Earth’s Halloween event is required to participate in the contest.

OTHER FUN HALLOWE’EN THINGS TO DO AT DYNAMIC EARTH!

Dynamic Earth is THE place to be this Hallowe’en! Check out some of the activities available from October 4-27 below! The event features the 6th anniversary of the thematic pumpkin display, Pumpkinferno™, a haunted house known as the Tunnel of Terror and a variety of family fun activities. New this year are ghost stories around the fire, guided Pumpkinferno™ tours, virtual reality games and a kids costume contest. Tickets can be purchased online at dynamicearth.ca or at the door.

The Fun

Family Fun Favourites – enjoy face painting, a not-so-scary haunted house, spooky storytelling and a scavenger hunt.

Live Shows – Every night there will be special live shows, such as the return of our animals shows featuring bats and creepy crawlers, plus new science shows and local performance groups.

Inflatables, presented by A Maze N Fun– Need to get the Halloween jitters out? Then come inside the Halloween bouncy castle!

Pumpkinferno – This enchanting, outdoor exhibit, created by Upper Canada Village, features thousands of hand-carved pumpkins set against a glowing Sudbury skyline. Each installation is made up of internally-lit individual fiber pumpkins that create a spellbinding display of artistry and imagination. This year, visitors can expect ghost stories around the fire, guided tours and interactive games.
Pumpkinferno, created by Upper Canada Village, has earned “Best New Event in Ontario” designation by Festival and Events Ontario and “Tourism Event of The Year” by the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario.

The Fright – ages 12+

Tunnel of Terror – explore Canada’s only month-long underground Halloween experience located seven storeys below the Earth’s surface. This year, experience Friday Night Frights (recommended for ages 16+) every Friday at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm, as the tunnel gets a little scarier and the monsters inside become even more unruly. Note: Children 6 and under are not permitted. Tickets are limited and are given out on a first come first serve basis.

The Delights

Spider Dogs & S’mores – back by popular demand, Halloween snacks are available for purchase at the Copper Cauldron Café located outdoors and at the Copper Café inside Dynamic Earth. Come enjoy special fall treats and warm-up around the campfires after strolling through the pumpkin patch.
