Sudbury’s largest tourist attraction closed it’s doors on Thursday after a water main break.

Science North’s Nicole Chiasson says it started in the back of the main lobby, but there’s no damage to the Science Centre but they have to shut off the water supply to carry out repairs.

The animals are fine.

There was a significant amount of water still in the science centre as of Thursday afternoon but crews are working to get it open.

Chiasson says updates will be posted on their Website, Facebook Twitter pages but at this point, they’re not sure how long they’ll be closed.
