Membership meetings are underway at the Holiday Inn for members of Laurentian University’s faculty association to vote on a new tentative agreement.

LUFA president Jim Ketchen says both bargaining teams worked extremely hard.

Ketchen says voting will remain open until 7 or 7:30 this evening before the votes are counted.

If it’s endorsed by the faculty and Laurentian’s board of governors, classes would resume next Monday October 16th after reading week.

Courses at the Barrie campus and online would start Tuesday.
