Police investigation started with an abandoned vehicle on Elm Street and ended with multiple charges to a local 19-year old man.

Around 8 am on September 6th, a silver sedan hit an SUV on Elm Street, the sedan then struck a construction worker on Ernest Street at Ethelbert(Ethel-Burt).

The worker suffered minor injuries.

The driver and two individuals fled on foot and on Thursday the driver was spotted by a detective which resulted in a foot chase.

The 19-year old was arrested and handed nine different charges including 19 counts of breach of probation.
