The Fresh Prince helped kick off the newest season of Carpool Karaoke last night.

Music Icon Glen Campbell passed away yesterday at the age of 81 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. During his career, Campbell scored 21 TOP 40 hits including “Rhinestone Cowboy,”and “By the Time I Get to Phoenix.” He was also a member of L.A.’s vaunted Wrecking Crew, which backed the likes of Elvis Presley, Merle Haggard, The Byrds, and The Righteous Brothers on some of their biggest singles.

Campbell had 8 children from four marriages, and struggled with alcoholism and cocaine addiction throughout his life.

Former Late Show host David Letterman is coming out of retirement to host a six-episode talk show that will premiere on Netflix in 2018. The format will be far different than his usual late-night foray, as he’ll conduct a single hour-long interview with one guest per episode.

 The 69-year old said “I feel excited and lucky to be working on this project for Netflix”  SAYING “Here’s what I have learned: If you retire to spend more time with your family, check with your family first. Thanks for watching; drive safely.”
