Timely, convenient and comprehensive care is what Health Sciences North is going for in a collaborative clinic with local cardiologists.

The two have partnered to open the Cardiac Out-Patient Centre(COPC) which will provide seven different services and tap into a number of health care professionals.

Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Dino Shukla says it will also allow them to share medical records seamlessly.

He also says they will be able to tap into a number of resources and industry professionals to cut down on wait times.

Cardiologist Grama Ravi says this was a dream of his when he got into health care 20 years ago.

The COPC will operate 8 hours a day, five days a week and Dr. Ravi says they are open to bringing in more cardiologists.
