The Northern Ontario School of Medicine is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary.

From the beginning, NOSM has billed itself as a medical school in the North for the North.

Founding Dean, Dr. Roger Strasser says that is very evident in it’s graduates.

NOSM has graduated 480 doctors with 94% of them now practicing in Northern Ontario.

NOSM has grown from being Canada’s newest medical school to a national and international leader in health professional education.
