Saturday will be the final day for the Out of the Cold Emergency Shelter.

The shelter, ran by the Canadian Mental Health Association saw more than 68 hundred visits to the shelter including over 32 hundred overnight stays.

Shelter Manager, Cindy Rose says being the first time they ran a shelter, they feel it was quite successful.

The Canadian Mental Health Association and partners helped find 32 permanent homes for individuals.

Because the shelter is city funded, the CMHA will have to bid on running the services for next season.
