James Corden and Demi Lovato had a spontaneous ‘Diva Riff-Off’ this week on The Late Late Show, where they both exchanged playful burns and sang songs from past and current divas in less than 10 minutes.  Backed up by Level, an a cappella group, James was ‘team past diva’ and Demi was ‘team current diva’.

While Demi covered songs by Adele, Katy Perry and her own, James performed songs by Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin.  Demi’s best vocal: when she performed ‘Roar’ by Katy Perry.  According to Demi, to prove James wrong about the music industry not having any current divas, Demi simply replied with, “I have my own.” SNAP

After Demi performed her own song ‘Heart Attack’, she did a mic drop and demanded James to pick her mic back up.  James responded with a , “I’m sorry, what?” and Demi’s reaction is priceless.

Demi’s reply and James reaction is at the 8:20 mark and it’s too good to miss.

Arizona teenager Jacob Staudenmaier found that at least part of his wish came true after his La La Land-themed video asking Emma Stone to prom went viral. On Friday’s Good Morning America, Staudenmaier revealed that Stone saw the video and responded with a note, which he read on the show. “Jacob, thanks for making the greatest proposal I have ever received,” Stone wrote. “I can’t tell you what an honor that was and how much I smiled through that entire beautifully orchestrated video.” Although Stone regretfully declined the invitation because she’s in London working, she wished him “the best time at prom.” She ended her note by telling the teen, “P.S. I do see Gosling around the eyes. Love, Emma.”

Fate of the Furious co-stars Vin Diesel & Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson have finally addressed reports of a feud between them, which were sparked last summer when Johnson posted on Instagram about a “chicken s**t” male castmate. “I don’t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way,” Diesel tells USA Today. “I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don’t think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne.” He adds that it’s easy for creative differences to arise when “two alphas” are on set, but that they have each other’s backs. “Dwayne has only got one Vin in his life,” Diesel added. “Dwayne Johnson only has one big brother in this film world and that’s me.” Meanwhile, Johnson tells Entertainment Tonight  that focusing on making a great movie for the fans helped him keep perspective. “Just like, in life, you have different philosophies and people have different fundamental philosophies on how you do things,” he explains. “And again, the most important thing is just the movie.”
