Paris Jackson has opened up to Rolling Stone in her first major interview, a wide-ranging discussion that revealed intimate details about growing up with Michael Jackson as a father. “I just thought his name was Dad, Daddy,” Paris says about her King of Pop father. “We didn’t really know who he was. But he was our world. And we were his world.” She adds that she and her brothers were given the option to go to school, but chose homeschooling because “when you’re at home, your dad…will occasionally come in, in the middle of class, and it’s like, ‘Cool, no more class for the day.'” She also admits to being sexually assaulted at the age of 14 and attempting suicide several times. Dan Aykroyd has penned a touching tribute to his former fiancee Carrie Fisher in the new issue of Empire magazine. The SNL alum calls the late Star Wars icon “one of the most brilliant and hilarious minds of our eon” and recalls how she always kept him entertained. “Carrie would say things like: ‘I love tiny babies. When they cry they turn red and look like screaming tomatoes,” he writes. Aykroyd also reveals that he bought Fisher a sapphire ring when they were “contemplating marriage,” but that she ultimately left him for Paul Simon in 1983. However, there were no hard feelings and he was thankful they had a “good time” together. “She married him,” he writes. “But I hope she kept my ring.”

During a Tuesday appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Boy George admitted that he and George Michael were rivals before they became friends.

“In the early days, we were competition to each other. Both called George, both made soul music. So in the early days, we were really in competition,” he explained. “Then sort of later on, I started to really appreciate him as a musician–you know, right around Faith. I started to really appreciate his talent.” He added, “In the ’80s, everyone–Peter Burns, me, we all used to be really b**chy about each other. It’s like the thing that you did in the ’80s with those pop magazines. Now it’s the Housewives who do it!” George went on to say that he and Michael were in touch “on and off,” but that he wasn’t aware of his personal issues. “I read stuff in the papers,” he recalls. “But I never really knew really what–he really kept people out, he was quite private.”
