A drug bust yesterday in the city has meant $185,000 in illicit drugs are now in police lock-up instead of on our streets.

The Greater Sudbury Police Intelligence Unit conducted the search warrant at a home in the city and seized 300 Fentanyl patches, cocaine, heroin and MDMA (or ecstasy) tablets.

Two men, a woman and a young person were all charged with drug-related offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act and the Criminal Code of Canada.

Also found were a 9mm handgun and $10,000 in stolen property.

The four suspects were due for a bail hearing today.
