Wouldn’t it be funny to see Gravedigger driving over the top of cars that are parked on the street in the Winter.

We thought so, I guess until it’s one of our cars.

So we were just kidding, the city, in the middle of a possible tax hike will not be employing monster truck drivers to destroy illegally parked cars.

But the overnight parking by-law does take effect December 1st, meaning cars parked on roadways, lane-ways or side streets will get you a ticket.

Cars could also be towed if they are blocking snow plows.

The by-law will run until March 31st and will be strictly enforced seven days a week from midnight until 7 am.

Residents are also reminded to take basketball nets off the end of driveways.
