Bad news for Gilmore Girls fans who thought Melissa McCarthy would be joining the Netflix reunion! Despite creator Amy Sherman-Palladino saying the show would love to incorporate Sookie into the revival if she could work it into her schedule, McCarthy is sharing her side of the story on Twitter.
“Thanks for the invite, but sadly no one asked me or Sookie to come back to Stars Hollow,” the Mike & Molly actress replied via Twitter. “Wish them all the best!!”

According to 45 year old McCarthy, her character, Sookie, won’t be coming back because she wasn’t asked to come back, NOT because of scheduling issues. Ouch! The show just started filming the four 90-minute-episodes yesterday, so perhaps the creators will invite McCarthy back now that she’s publicly called them out for it!

She may have millions of monsters (fans), but she was one of David Bowie’s biggest fans. Lady Gaga will pay tribute to the late & legendary David Bowie at The 58th Annual Grammy Awards in LA.

“When I fell in love with David Bowie, when I was living on the Lower East Side, I always felt that his glamour was something he was using to express a message to people that was very healing for their souls.”

Producer of The Grammys, Ken Ehrlich says Gaga’s solo performance will happen closer to the end of the show and that she will cover “at least three or four” songs. Other performers include Adele, Kendrick Lamar, the Weeknd, Sam Hunt & Carrie Underwood.

Now, Halle Berry is finally opening up about the Oscars diversity controversy

“I believed that in that moment, that when I said [in my acceptance speech], ‘The door tonight has been opened,’ I believed that with every bone in my body that this was going to incite change because this door, this barrier, had been broken,” she told reporters at the 2016 Makers Conference yesterday. “And to sit here almost 15 years later, and knowing that another woman of color has not walked through that door, is heartbreaking.” She adds, “It’s heartbreaking because I thought that moment was bigger than me… Maybe it wasn’t. And I so desperately felt like it was.”

This portrait of a potato sold for $1 million dollars. Titled, “Potato #345″, the businessman who bought it, made up his mind after two glasses of wine”
The picture was taken by 46-year-old, Irish photographer, Kevin Abosch in 2010. When asked why he chose to photograph a spud, he said:

“I see commonalities between humans and potatoes that speak to our relationship as individuals within a collective species.

“Generally, the life of a harvested potato is violent and taken for granted. I use the potato as a proxy for the ontological study of the human experience.”
