Is it okay to pierce your infant’s ears? That’s what’s trending on social media, after former model Katie Price posted a photo of her 18-month-old daughter, Bunny – with her ears pierced. While some people showed support, others were quick to criticize, even going as far to say it’s a form of child abuse. Price is defending her decision, explaining how it is a Spanish tradition she believes in, as it is her husband’s heritage, “I’m not going to sit here and justify myself, she looks really cute”. She adds, “well, what about kids who get circumcised?”

When Maggie the dog was adopted from the humane society, she was ready to move into Barkers Pet Motel in Saint Albert, Canada. Maggie’s puppies had just been taken away from her two weeks prior, but she never lost her mommy-instinct. One night, a group of adorable, rescued puppies, who were scared, crying and whimpering, caught Maggie’s attention. Mama Maggie to the rescue! She managed to somehow escape her kennel and find her way to the crying pups to cuddle them until they calmed down.

The owner told CBC News, went straight around and she found their room. She paid them a lot of attention and you could see her little tail wagging. The hashtag #BeforeFacebookI is trending on social media after Comedy Central suggested to viewers that they should share what exactly it is they used to do before the-ever-so-addicting-Facebook existed. In honour of Facebook’s 12th birthday, host Chris Hardwick’s brilliant idea generated some of the following responses.

#BeforeFacebookI didn’t think my cat’s nap schedule and cardboard box needed photo documentation.

#BeforeFacebookI I didn’t have to read/”hear” about what my friends and family eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Donald Trump was apparently nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Other nominees reportedly include Pope Francis, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, Colombian peace negotiators, US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz and Ali Akbar Salehi, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation. Peace Research Institute of Oslo director Kristian Berg Harpviken told the French news agency AFP that whoever nominated Trump, wrote in a letter that he deserves the honor for “his vigorous peace-through-strength ideology, used as a threat weapon of deterrence against radical Islam ISIS, nuclear Iran, and Communist China.”

Ariel Winter looked stunning on the red carpet as she made her way into the 2016 SAG Awards. But, online trolls with nothing better to do attacked her for not covering up her breast reduction scars. The 18 year old responded to the plastic surgery controversy, saying she is “not ashamed” to show her scars. Last year, she reduced her cup size down from a 32F to a 34D. She once told People“Being a 5-ft.-tall girl and having extremely large breasts is really ostracizing and excruciatingly painful…It’s important to talk about it because there are young girls suffering like I did, but there shouldn’t be a stigma about it.”
