Meet Sabre Norris, an 11-year-old surferfrom Australia who become a viral sensation after giving a hilariously honest–and brutal–interview on The Today Show about being selected to compete in the Sydney International Women’s Pro Qualifying Series. “Even if I get last, they’re doing $250 prize money and I really want to spend it on doughnuts,” she declared during a segment on Wednesday. When asked whether her father was an athlete, Norris went on to give an even more candid answer. “Yeah, my dad was an athlete but now he’s um, pretty fat,” she explained. “He used to eat like two liters of ice cream every single night… He had to suck his gut in for photos.” Understandably, the hosts of the show dissolved into giggles. However, Norris was undeterred and elaborated on her dad’s weight loss efforts. “Now he’s just eating cucumbers,” she shared.
