Greater Sudbury Police say the suspicious package found earlier today between Tom Davies Square and the provincial building downtown is a red locked toolbox.

Police say a security guard found the toolbox under a bench this morning which prompted the evacuation of both buildings.

Surveillance video shows an individual walking to the area placing the toolbox and leaving the area around 4 pm yesterday.

Both buildings will be closed for the remainder of the day as OPP is on route from North Bay to assist officers.
