The province will start to re-open on Friday, three days ahead of their original timeline.

The provincial government made the announcement yesterday saying health indicators have improved enough to enter stage one.

So starting Friday you can have up to 10 people for outdoor gatherings, restaurants will be open for outdoor dining, although there will only be four people allowed per table, retail will open to 15 per cent capacity and no sections of stores will be blocked off, also overnight camping will be allowed.

Step one of re-opening was supposed to happen when 60 per cent of the population had the first dose of the vaccine, as of yesterday 72 per cent of Ontarians have the first dose.

Step two is set for 21 days from now when personal care services will open.
