Conspiracy theorists truly believe that Katy Perry is actually JonBenet Ramsey. Ramsey was a child beauty pageant participant who was murdered 20 years ago.
In 2014, the head conspiracy theorist, Dave Johnson, posted a 7-minute video to YouTube, which is making the rounds again while attempting to explain that JonBenét did not die, but was sacrificed for fame, ultimately evolving into the “Katy Perry character” we all know. So what kind of proof is in the video? Not only do JonBenét and Katy look alike when their photos are placed on top of each other, but Johnson says it’s obvious just by looking at them that Katy’s parents, Keith Hudson and Mary Perry, are a thinner version of John and Patsy Ramsey (who died of ovarian cancer in 2006).

Kelly Clarkson returned to the American Idol stage last night, where she broke down in tears during her live performance of “Piece by Piece.” While the very-pregnant season one winner warned the audience that she might fall apart, she made it near the end of the emotional track before she saw judges Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez weeping and had to step away from the mic. The night also found Sonika Vaid and Trent Harmon giving game-changing performances of Evanescence’s “Wake Me Up Inside” and Sam Smith’s “Like I Can,” respectively. And La’Porsha Renae also delivered a heartbreaking cover of “Diamonds” by Rihanna.

Lady Gaga took to Instagram on Thursday to show her support for Kesha, who recently lost her legal battle with Sony and music producer Dr. Luke. Gaga posted a photo of the two holding hands and captioned it, “The very reason women don’t speak up for years is the fear no one will believe them of their abuser has threatened their life of their loved ones/livelihood in order to keep their victim quiet and under their control. What happened to Kesha has happened to many female artists including myself and it will affect her for the rest of her life.” She added, “Listen and Love. #stopvictimshaming.”
