Southern Alberta was BLASTED with snow on Tuesday.

Thousands of people found themselves stuck on the highway for almost 6 hours  just outside of Canmore. One of those drivers is Jens Lindemann, a trumpet soloist who decided to lift everybody’s spirits with the Canadian anthem.

He said:
“I’ve never experienced anything like this where we were caught in the middle of a snowstorm for five hours with nothing to do but to play the trumpet. I’m calling this the official SnowBowl Concert.”

Cool eh? He said, what’s even cooler is:
“What ends up happening is people step out of their cars, they go for a stretch and end up talking to each other and you know… Canadians are hearty folks. We’re making the best of it!”
