Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is begging for the public’s forgiveness after a racist rant cost him his job with the WWE. “Please forgive me,” he said during an interview on Good Morning America with Amy Robach. “There’s not a racist bone in my body.” Hogan says he contemplated suicide in the days following the leaking of a recording of his rant, “I was to the point where I wanted to kill myself, you know? I was completely broken and destroyed and said, ‘What’s the easiest way out of this?’” He adds that he now knows that casually throwing around the n-word, like he did as a kid growing up in a rough neighborhood in Tampa, is “unacceptable.”
