A second sports bubble will be built in the city, but the group behind it might be the first to open.

Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel Ontario announced they will be building an all-season sports facility at Sacre-Coeur, paid for and operated by the Sudbury District Sports Club.

Project Lead with SDSC, Mike Graham also says while he doesn’t have a say in the proposed dome to be built at Lasalle Secondary School, he doesn’t believe two facilities could work in Sudbury and if one was to be built, taxpayer dollars should not be used for it.

Graham says if applications for permits through the city go well they could start construction in a month.
