Saskatoon RCMP in Warman arrested what they are calling a “stubborn” goat after it refused to leave a Tim Hortons over the weekend.

RCMP released a statement explaining how the employees working at the time initially “asked” the goat to leave . Then, they attempted to lead the goat outside, but the defiant animal turned around and trotted back into the restaurant’s automatic doors.

After several failed attempts to guide the goat outside, the Tim Hortons employees called the police and two RCMP members arrived to deal with the “disturbance.” Upon arrival, the officers came to the conclusion that the goat was cold and was taking refuge inside the Tim Hortons entrance in an attempt to warm up, like so many Canadians do. They believe the goat wanted to “sleep in the entrance” of the Tim Hortons.

The RCMP officers then “arrested” the goat and escorted him into their police cruiser. Apparently, the goat was “very unhappy” that he was being relocated to an animal hospital until the owners could be tracked down.

“We are happy to report that the goat is safe and sound, back with his owners after his adventurous night out on the town.”
