Murky Green Water at Olympics

If you were watching the Olympics women’s synchronized diving event on Tuesday, you may have been wondering WHAT THE HECK happened to the water!?

One day it was clear, clean blue. The next? Murky, green and ominous. Organizers from Rio 2016 said water tests were conducted and there is no risk to athletes. Why did it happen? Spokesman said the green was caused “by a proliferation of algae.” due to “heat and a lack of wind”

Um…..gross.
