What would you do if you found out your kid was a bully?

Dad Bryan Thornhill found out that his 10-year-old son was kicked off the bus for bullying another student, so he decided to do something he calls simple ‘parenting’.

Bryan punished his son by making him run to school every day…even in the rain. He says it’s “old school, simple parenting”.

“This is a healthy way for a child to be punished because it’s exercise,” he says.

In the viral video, Bryan is driving slowly behind his son – who is running in the rain, a few kilometers away from school.

In the video, he says:
‘Hey everyone, welcome to you better listen to your Dad 2018. My son has finally got in trouble on the bus enough to where he was kicked off the bus for three days because he was being a little bully which I do not tolerate, can’t stand. Therefore, he has to now run to school, we’re right about one mile from the school so all week he’s got the experience of running.’

Bryan says since he started doing this, his son’s behavior at school has dramatically improved and even his teachers are happy with the positive change.

At the end of the video, Bryan says:
‘We’re gonna make sure that one way or another his teacher’s are gonna be able to enjoy his company at school, he’s not disrupting his classmates and everything else. Teach your kids, don’t be a friend, be a parent. That’s what children need these days.’

“I love my children more than anything in this world so I want to take the initiative to raise them,” he says.
