Feeding people in need and in distress…lessening their distress. The Sudbury Food Bank is dedicated to the alleviation of hunger for those living in the region of the City of Greater Sudbury and this month, they are our KiSS Cares Charity of the Month!

The Sudbury Food Bank is dedicated to ensuring that every person in the City of Greater of Sudbury has enough to eat through providing support for individuals through area food banks, ensuring that no one has to be hungry all year long.

What the Sudbury Food Bank Does

  • The Sudbury Food Bank collects and distributes food to its 44 member agencies throughout the Sudbury Region. These members are geographically set up in our region so we can assist everywhere. This way the food gets to the folks that need it in their home communities
  • Some of the Member Agencies that receive food/funds from the Sudbury Food Bank include The Elgin Street Mission, The Salvation Army, The Infant Food Bank, The Independent Living Centre and Sudbury’s Colleges and University. Along with food banks throughout the City of Sudbury we also support food banks in Espanola, Markstay, Capreol, Levack and Onaping, Coniston, Garson, Hanmer, Chelmsford, and Lively
