Mel Gibson’s Lawyer Tells Chilean Woman to Stop Selling “Miel Gibson” Honey

Four months into quarantine, Yohana Agurto, an unemployed teacher in Chile, remembered she had a large stash of organic honey in her pantry. She’d recently come across an Instagram photo of Mel Gibson, whose first name is similar to the Spanish word for honey, “miel.” So Agurto began selling “Miel Gibson” honey, complete with a logo featuring an image from Braveheart, to make ends meet. Sales of the honey have been paying the bills, but Agurto recently received a cease-and-desist letter from Gibson’s attorney, Leigh Brecheen, who insists the actor isn’t seeking to put Agurto out of business, but simply wants her to follow “clearances you need to go through to make sure you have the approval for such usage.” For the time being, Agurto has elected to ignore the legal threat and keep right on selling her Miel Gibson honey–and she tells The New York Times she’d love to send a jar to Gibson himself.

This Cat Plays the Piano When It Wants to Be Fed

Kate Nyx, from Philadelphia, has trained her cat Winslow to rap on the keys of a miniature piano when he’s hungry. Since then, the 7-year-old tabby has taken up tickling the ivories for various other needs and whims, such as litter cleaning or affection.

A video has been making the rounds of a cat that plays a miniature piano when it wants to be fed.  The piano is on the floor within reach of its paws.  The owner says the cat also bangs on the keys when it wants the litter box to be cleaned.
