Reusable Q-Tip 'Life Swab' Could Replace BILLIONS of Cotton Swabs

Try to picture 1.5 BILLION cotton swabs. That’s how many q-tips are produced annually. That’s A LOT of waste. You use it once and throw it out immediately after. But where does it go? Cotton swabs end up in oceans and are not environmentally friendly what-so-ever.

Those days are long gone now thanks to a reusable alternative called “Life Swabs”.

It is made of medical silicone with a stiff nylon core. There is one designed for standard ear use and another for makeup use.

Each one has its own carrying case that comes in a variety of different colours.

The creators claim that their product can be used thousands of times. All you have to do is wash it after each use. Yucky…but cool.

“Life Swabs” also claims that their packaging, swabs and carrying case are all made with 100% biodegradable material
