This Friday and Saturday I had a blast taking part in The Sudbury Food Bank Food Cart, the First Time Riders program, New Sudbury Days and Beef Stack!  I even got to stop by DQ for a nice cold treat in between! I was so glad to be able to take part in so many local events to help better our community!

The Sudbury Food Bank Food Cart is always such a blast!  They have a BBQ Monday – Friday from 10am – 3pm and its super yummy and affordable!  And the proceeds got towards the food bank!  The First Time Riders program is for all the new little kiddos that are starting school in the fall!  It’s put on by the Sudbury Bus Consortium and it’s there to help the kids feel more comfortable with the School Bus for the first day of Kindergarten!  They are all so darn cute!

Later, I headed out to DQ and had a Cookie Jar Blizzard!  It’s one of my favorites, so it made me very happy.  Keira and I got to hand out a bunch of free DQ gift cards to some lucky listeners to make their day even sweeter!

On Saturday, New Sudbury Days took place at the Twin Forks sports complex, with a free BBQ, bouncy castles, face paint and there were even firemen and paramedics there so that the kids could see inside of the trucks!  It was such a blast!  It was all by donation, and the proceeds are headed towards funding a Splash Pad!

Later in the evening I headed over to Beef Stack at Verdicchio.  The featured meals were prepared with local beef, beer, and produce which were all from Northern Ontario Farmers and Producers!   It was so good I wanted to eat all of it!  I had such a great start to my weekend by visiting all these amazing community events! I can’t wait for the next ones!
