Fatal Accident on Lake Wahnipitae

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a fatal boating incident on Lake Wanapitei.

Patrol Operations, along with Fire and Paramedic Services responded to a marine vessel collision early Sunday morning. Paramedics provided life saving measures to the male involved in the collision, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the deceased has not been released and the investigation is still in its preliminary stages so no further details about the collision were released.
