Praise the clean-eating gods! This year’s menu at the Golden Globes will be entirely organic and gluten-free. Yes, you read that correctly: no ~nasty~ bread, pasta or bathtub-brewed beer will pass the lips of any A-list attendees.

Ahead of the *exclusive* award show on Jan. 7 at the Beverly Hilton in L.A., Vogue chatted with the venue’s executive chef, Alberico Nunziata, about what’s on the bougie menu and why he considers his task of feeding the stars to be “such an honour.”

“Celebrities have very specific diets, and we want to provide good and beautiful food that’s healthy at the same time,” Nunziata told Vogue. “Also, for this group, you want to create something that’s healthy and familiar, but not boring.” Stars, they’re just like us!

While we’ve been told eating gluten-free isn’t smart unless you have to for actual health problems, stars totally know best, right?! And they’re waaaay ahead of food trends, so this menu is probably for legit science reasons. From Chilean sea bass to coffee-infused Frangelico crème brûlée (WTF is that?!), here’s what celebs are going to be served on Sunday night.

FIRST COURSE

The first plate is a Delicata salad, featuring burrata cheese (freshly imported from Italy, Nunziata’s homeland, Vogue notes) roasted butternut squash, Taggiasca olives, and Modena’s balsamic vinegar. There will be no bread basket, because bread is evil.

“The Instagrammable first course is topped off with violet garlic flowers, set to make the New Yorkers at the event wistful for spring,” Vogue said of the salad.

If stars aren’t stuffed after the fancy AF plate of lettuce, they can move onto an entrée of Chilean sea bass on a bed of rice (which is pink, for some reason) served with a side of golden baby beets, yellow squash and zucchini. For guests who don’t eat imported, organic, gluten-free fish, there’s also a vegetarian option: a winter black truffle mushroom risotto.

DESSERT

And for dessert, celebs will be treated to a gold-dusted, coffee-infused Frangelico crème brûlée draped with a crinoline chocolate swirl. (I have no idea what any of this means but it sounds tasty as hell.) “Each dish is a piece of art for us,” Nunziata told Vogue. “This is the event of the year.”

While this food is super OTT, it’s a real shame the majority of this expensive grub won’t be touched since we all know stars don’t actually eat during these things. There’s no time, people!
