Man Who Completes 4,000 KM Canadian Arctic Journey Calls Sudbury Home

One of the more interesting young Canadians lives right here in Sudbury.

31-year old Adam Shoalts just returned from a four thousand km solo journey across Canada’s Arctic, a trip he hopes inspires people young and old to pick up their own quests of outdoor exploration and appreciation.

He has been recognized by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society for contributions to geography.

Shoalts has called Sudbury home for the last year and a half.

He’s actually been dubbed “Canada’s Indiana Jones.”

Shoalts calls Sudbury home, but if you know the young explorer, he’s always searching for the next adventure.

Shoalts will be sharing his latest journey for the first time in Sudbury tonight at the Rainbow Routes Annual General Meeting at 7 pm at 111 Larch Street, St. Andrew’s Place.
