Scott Armstrong is a Sudbury born filmmaker now living in Vancouver and working for Sony.  He is best known for his animation work on Frozen, Sausage Party and The Angry Birds Movie.

Scott graduated from Algonquin College School of Media and Design (2006-2009) and was later chosen to participate in a Disney apprenticeship in October 2012. It didn’t take long for Scott to be offered a full-time job and move up the seniority ranks, working on award-winning films like “Frozen” which won an award for Best Animated Feature Film. Armstrong is now a Senior Layout Artist at Sony Pictures Imageworks / Independent Filmmaker.
nomfaposterEN(smaller)Armstrong was in town a few months ago for the Northern film and Music awards at Science North where he won Best Short Film at the Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards for his animated short “Farewell Fire”.
