Selena Gomez has announced that she will join Puma as their newest celebrity designer.

“Being part of the PUMA family is very exciting for me,” Gomez said. “PUMA has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion. It’s amazing to see this influence on style and culture and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am hoping that we can create something special together. We already have some really cool projects in the works.”

The 25-year-old singer’s boyfriend, The Weeknd, also recently partnered with Puma, designing his own XO Parallel shoe, and the two were seen wearing matching pairs earlier this summer. Gomez’s collection, meanwhile, seems to be focused on athletic wear separates including sports bras and velour tops.

According to E!, Gomez is making over $30 million for the deal, which is expected to last around two years.

The news of Gomez’s collaboration comes on the heels of her public announcement that due to lupus complications, she had undergone a kidney transplant, given to her by close friend Francia Raisa, earlier this summer.

Post surgery, Gomez immediately got back to work for her most recent project, Woody Allen’s newest movie. The singer was spotted arriving on set on Monday. Selena was also seen sporting a black tee and matching sweatpants with fringe details as she rehearsed her script. The untitled project also stars Timothee ChalametElle Fanning, and Jude Law, and will be released sometime next year.

This will be the singer’s second design collaboration, the first being the wildly successful Selena Gomez for Coach campaign and collection.
