The Reseau Access Network opened up their new office downtown Sudbury at St. Andrews Place yesterday.

The network has provided support for those with HIV, Hepititis and for people in need of social services for the past 28 years.

Executive Director, Richard Rainville says the new location is perfect because it’s close to the people that they help.

It was an emotional grand opening for Sudbury MPP and Minister of Energy Glenn Thibeault.

Thibeault helped cut the ribbon for the network’s new building, but since they opened 28 years ago they have helped many along the way including Thibeault’s older brother.

Rainville says 28 years ago they were essentially helping people come home to die and now they are helping people live.

They feature a clinical staff, staff to refer services, therapists and more.
