Former Bachelor contestant Chris Soules was arrested after a car accident in which his vehicle hit and killed the driver of a tractor-trailer. TMZ reports the incident occurred on Monday night in Iowa, where Soules “was driving a Chevy pickup and rear-ended a John Deere tractor trailer, sending it into a ditch.” The driver of the tractor-trailer later died at the hospital. According to police documents obtained by TMZ, Soules was “in possession of alcoholic beverage containers.” Meanwhile The Week confirms that he has been charged with leaving the scene of a deadly crash, a felony. Authorities are also investigating if the reality star was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and are exploring why he refused to come out of his home to be arrested until a search warrant was obtained.

Nordstrom reached a new low this week by offering on its website a pair of jeans that appear to be covered in mud–for a whopping $425. According to Buzzfeed, jean brand PRPS describes the Barracuda Straight Leg Jeans as “Americana workwear that’s seen some hard-working action with a crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you’re not afraid to get down and dirty.” It’s also offering a matching jean jacket for another $425. Among the jeans’ critics is Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe, who told FOX on Tuesday, “The Barracuda Straight Leg Jeans aren’t pants. They’re not even fashion. They’re a costume for wealthy people who see work as ironic, not iconic.” Ouch.

Kristen Bell revealed on Tuesday the upcoming release date for Frozen 2.

“Quick weather forecast from your favorite Disney princess’ sister,” the 36-year-old actress, who voices Anna in the movie, tweeted. “Theaters are gonna get Frozen on November 27, 2019! Woo Hoo!!!!” Disney Animation also shared the good news on Twitter, alongside a GIF of everybody’s favorite Frozen character: Olaf the Snowman. The original Frozen movie has made more than $1.2 billion to date.
