Barry Manilow has given his first major interview about his 39-year-relationship with his manager/husband, Garry Kief. Speaking to People, the “Mandy” singer reveals he worried that coming out would have a detrimental effect on his loyal fans. “I thought I would be disappointing them if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything,” says Manilow. Thankfully, the singer discovered that when news of his marriage to Kief broke in 2015, the reaction was positive. “When they found out that Garry and I were together, they were so happy,” he says. “The reaction was so beautiful–strangers commenting, ‘Great for you!’ I’m just so grateful for it.” WATCH INTERVIEW HERE

A Hollywood producer has slammed Alec Baldwin for claiming that he had no idea that his co-star Nikki Reed was underage when they shot the R-rated 2006 indie film Mini’s First Time. In the movie, Baldwin played a man having an affair with his stepdaughter, played by Reed. “I was 47, and it never occurred to me to ask how old Nikki Reed was,” Baldwin writes in his new memoir Nevertheless. “When I found out, just as we finished, that she was 17, I flipped out on the producers, who had told me something different.” None of that is true, says producer Dana Brunetti, who has worked on the Fifty Shades franchise and House of Cards. “My first indie film was Mini’s starring @AlecBaldwin who knew @NikkiReed_I_Am was 16 (not 17) and he didn’t mind,” Brunetti tweeted. “In fact (Reed) was one of four actresses (Baldwin) had approved and her being the only one of those four ripped by his own agency CAA.” Three other crew members have backed up Brunetti’s statement. The producer later tweeted, “To @AlecBaldwin’s benefit, he has been impersonating Trump a lot, so maybe there was a bit of method acting when writing his book?” He concluded his rant by writing, “To to summarize, @AlecBaldwin knew NikkiReed_I_Am was 16, didn’t find out AFTER filming, and did not yell at us.”
