Sesame Street has announced plans to feature a new puppet named Julia who has autism. “As the parent of a child with autism, I wished that it had come out years before, when my own child was at the Sesame Streetage,” Stacey Gordon, the puppeteer who plays Julia, said during a recent segment about the character on 60 Minutes. Meanwhile, writer Christine Ferraro adds that the show’s creative team has worked closely with autism organizations, educators, and families to decide the best way to portray a child with autism, including how to explain autism at a pre-school level. Julia made her first appearance in the Sesame Street neighborhood in October 2015 in an online Digital Storybook story called Sesame Street and Autism: See the amazing in all children. She will make her debut on the children’s show in April 10th

Music pioneer Chuck Berry, often called the “Father of Rock-n-Roll,” died on Saturday at his home outside of St. Louis, Missouri. He was 90. “The St. Charles County Police Department sadly confirms the death of Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr., better known as legendary musician Chuck Berry,” the department announced on its Facebook page. Born in St. Louis on October 18, 1926, Berry was first inspired to pick up the guitar after singing in a high school talent show and being accompanied by a friend who played the instrument. He had his first big break in 1952, after joining Johnnie Jonson’s band-which was later renamed the Chuck Berry Combo. Three years later, Berry signed to Chicago’s Chess Records at the suggestion of Muddy Waters and went on to write and record songs such as “Johnny B. Goode,” “Sweet Little Sixteen” and “Maybellene.” Known for his deceptively simple rock tunes, Berry was praised throughout his career by the likes of John Lennon, Keith Richards, and Bruce Springsteen. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Themetta Suggs and their four children: Ingrid Berry, Melody Eskridge, Aloha Isa Leigh Berry, and Charles Berry Jr.

Drake admits to drunk-texting his former flame Jennifer Lopez in a song featured on his new playlist project More Life. New York Magazine reports that the Toronto rapper confesses to the embarrassing act in the song “Free Smoke,” rapping, “I drunk text J-Lo / Old numbers so I bounce back / Boy Wonder gotta bounce back.” Drizzy takes his J-Lo obsession to the next level by also sampling the chorus of her song “If You Had My Love” for the chorus of “Teenage Fever,” which includes lyrics like “Your heart is hard to carry after dark / You’re to blame for what we could have been / ’Cause look at what we are.” Drake released his long-awaited, 22-track More Life playlist on Saturday.

Adele stopped her Melbourne, Australia, concert on Sunday night to call out a security guard who was telling fans to sit down. “Excuse me sir,” she announced. “I know you work here but can you please stop telling people to sit down? This is a music show, if people can’t see then they can stand up.” She added, “And if you’re moaning about people dancing, then what the f**k did you come to a show for? If I see one more person being told to sit down, then I swear to God…” The singer’s fans responded to her scolding of the guard with loud cheering.
