The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation handed the city of Greater Sudbury a cheque for $2,092,224.

The money came from revenue generated by OLG Slots at Sudbury Downs between April 1st, 2015 and March 31st 2016.

Since 2001, Sudbury has received more than 37 million dollars in non-tax gaming money for hosting Sudbury Downs.

The many can be put towards community projects like roads or education.
