Low To No Water Pressure Because Of Barry Downe Water Main Repair

Water Interruption on Kingsway at Barry Downe Road to Westmount Avenue

A water main repair has resulted in a temporary loss of water service to a section of Barry Downe Road, between the Kingsway and Westmount Avenue, and to six businesses on the Kingsway near Barry Downe.

A section of pipe is currently being replaced and is expected to be complete by Saturday, February 4, at approximately Noon.

Residents in the impacted area may experience low or no water pressure until the repair is complete.

Residents may fill containers with treated municipal water on Bancroft Drive, near Moonlight Beach Road.

The City of Greater Sudbury apologizes for the inconvenience.

Crews are working around-the-clock to restore service as quickly as possible.
