Meanwhile, The doll released for Emma Watson’s turn as Belle in the forthcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast film is turning heads for looking suspiciously like Justin Bieber. “When you order an Emma Watson doll online but a Justin Bieber doll in a yellow dress & a wig arrives instead,” one Twitter user said underneath a photo of the doll. Another quipped, “Justin is now secretly living his life as a Belle doll,” while others called the doll “tragic” and “super creepy.” Flickr user William Herrington, who first posted a photo of the doll, went as far as describing the doll as  “atrocious.” “Her face was shiny and covered in freckles (that looked more like a skin disease),” he told BuzzFeed News. “And her head looked like it was being ripped open and torn where the hair was rooted into the head.”

Evan Rachel Wood continued her trend of wearing pantsuits this awards season by rocking a custom Altuzarra tux on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. “This is my third nomination, I’ve been to the Globes six times, and I’ve worn a dress every time,” she told Ryan Seacrest of her unique choice. “And I love dresses, I’m not trying to protest dresses. But I wanted to make sure that young girls and women knew that they aren’t a requirement.” Other ladies that got on the pantsuit train Sunday night were Kathryn Hahn and Octavia Spencer. While Hahn opted for a black Brandon Maxwell pantsuit with a black bra peeking from underneath her jacket, Spencer selected a navy blue Laura Boschi tuxedo.

  • Meryl Streep delivered a powerful, anti-Trump speech while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night. Following an introduction from Viola Davis, Streep took the stage and explained, “Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners. If you kick ’em all out, you’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts.” Streep went on to say that the most stunning performance she saw this year was in the political realm, adding, “Not because it was good. There was nothing good about it. But it was effective and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh and show their teeth.” Elsewhere, La La Land swept all seven categories it was nominated in and broke the record for the most Globes won by any movie. BBC crime drama The Night Manager also nabbed three awards and Moonlight was recognized as the Best Drama.

Jimmy Fallon opened the 74th Golden Globe Awards on Sunday Night by stumbling his way through his monologue thanks to an unexpected teleprompter glitch. The awkward moment occurred after a pre-taped, La La Land-inspired musical segment that featured appearances by Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey and Justin Timberlake, when Fallon took the stage and the prompter failed. “I can think of something,” he joked. “Cut to Justin Timberlake please.” Fallon proceeded by taking a swipe at President-elect Donald Trump, comparing him to evil man-child King Joffrey from Game of Thrones. “A lot of people have wondered what it would have been like if King Joffrey lived,” he said. “Well, in 12 days we’re gonna find out.” Ouch.

David Blaine revealed over the weekend that he nearly died in a stunt gone wrong last November. On Saturday’s episode of Beyond Magic, Blaine explained that a trick in which he shot a gun into a metal cup in his mouth turned potentially deadly when the cup slipped off its grooves. When the bullet hit the cup, it slammed into the back of Blaine’s throat. “I was sure the bullet went right through my head and that I was dead,” Blaine said in a voiceover for the video. As it happened, the cup had shattered but did stop the bullet. Blaine was taken to the hospital with lacerations in his throat. “If I was going to die, I’d like to die pretty quick,” Blaine added.
