Veteran's Week Recognized Across Canada

Hundreds of ceremonies across the country happen during Veterans Week culminated by Remembrance Day this Friday.

We are just one year away from the 100th anniversaries of the battle of Vimy Ridge and Battle of Passchendaele.

Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre says young and old, it’s important to honour and talk about those who have served for Canada.

A social media campaign called hash tag #RememberThem can be used as Canadians are encouraged to share photos, stories and special memories.

A Remembrance Day ceremony will take place at the Sudbury Arena beginning at 10:30 this Friday, doors open at 9:30.

Serre will be taking part in a Remembrance Day parade and service, Thursday at 10 am in Field.
