Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns passed away on Sunday at the age of 57 after suffering cardiac arrest. Along with Boy George, whom he once accused of stealing his style, Burns obliterated traditional gender boundaries in pop music, scoring his band’s biggest hit with 1985’s “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record).” Burns admitted to being addicted to plastic surgery, and appeared on a handful of reality shows which depicted the extent of his obsession. “Tearful about the passing of Pete Burns. He was one of our great true eccentrics and such a big part of my life!” tweeted Boy George.
