Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt after sources say she found out he was cheating on her with his co-star

“She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw,’’ source says.

52 year old Pitt was reportedly getting too close to his 40 year old co-star Marion Cotillard, as the two worked together for months in London while filming “Allied’’ –  -the World War II drama.

Reports say the PI found that Pitt was partying “like a single guy on a mission”, the source said, adding: “The atmosphere [off-set] was full of hard drugs and Russian hookers, and Angie was told Brad got caught up in it. He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up.”

Meanwhile, a source close to Cotillard is denying the Pitt affair rumors, insisting she is still with her longtime boyfriend Guillaume Canet:
“They are still very much together. They have been a couple since 2007 and have one child but have never married”

TMZ claims that Angie believes that her hubby’s drinking and pot-smoking is affecting their kids. She doesn’t want Pitt to have joint physical custody, only legal she added in her divorce filing. The court documents list the couple’s date of separation as September 15, 2016.

Another source theory suggests 41 year old Jolie and Pitt were headed in different lifestyle directions, as Jolie was reportedly sick of Hollywood, instead wanting to devote herself full-time to her humanitarian work while Pitt prefers the glitz and glam with all the parties.

The source says: “The older she gets, the more serious she becomes, and she is sick of the Hollywood thing. He wants to make movies. She doesn’t. It’s a fundamental difference. It’s how you live your life.’’

Angelina Jolie’s manager says, “Angelina will always do what’s in the best interest to protect her children. She appreciates everyone’s understanding of their need for privacy at this time,’’

Pitt’s official statement to People magazine said, “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
It all started in 2004, Jolie and Pitt (then married to Jennifer Aniston) started a hot romance on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”. Now, after 12 years together (2 married, 10 dating), Jolie is filing for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences”. As of September 15th, 2016 Brangelina will be more no more.

Jolie is seeking physical custody of the couple’s kids  and doesn’t want Pitt to have joint physical custody, just joint legal custody. This means, he would get visitation. However, Jolie is reportedly not seeking spousal support.

George Clooney didn’t know that his good friends Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were getting a divorce until a CNN reporter told him mid-interview yesterday.

The actor was being interviewed following his appearance at the United Nations to discuss refugees when the news was brought up. “What happened?” he asked, appearing genuinely taken aback. “I didn’t know that. Wow. I feel very sorry then.” He awkwardly added, “That’s a sad story and unfortunate for a family. It’s an unfortunate story about a family. I feel very sorry to hear that. It’s the first I’ve heard of it.” He then walked off, presumably to call Brad and yell at him for leaving him in the dark.
