Greater Sudbury Police arrested a 20-year old Sudbury man over the weekend after an altercation led him to spray a group of people with bear mace.

Police say it happened Saturday night on Kathleen Street where a fight broke out at a social event and one man was struck.

He allegedly left and returned with bear mace, spraying two individuals with six more people contaminated.

The suspect fled on a bicycle but was picked up by police without incident.
