Greater Sudbury Fire Services called out twice Tuesday.

No injuries after a Sudbury transit bus caught fire.

Emergency crews were called to Dennie Street in Capreol around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.

The bus driver noticed smoke, pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and got the four passengers on board to safety.

There is no word on what caused the fire.

Then Tuesday night around 6 o’clock, crew responded to to an address on Walter Avenue.

Firefighters were able to contain a fire to a detached garage and a car in the drive-way with no damage to the house.

There were no injuries.

An investigation is underway to determine what started the fire and Greater Sudbury Police are also looking into it to determine if the circumstances are suspicious.
