There is still a large police presence in the North Shore First Nations community of Sagamok near Massey after reports of a shooting this morning.

Police continue to search for a suspect and the community remains in a lockdown with residents told to stay inside, lock their doors and close their curtains.

Police say they are looking for 32-year old Trystan Ashley Sago of Sagamok

Because of the incident, police say St. James Elementary School in Lively and Glad Tidings school on Regent Street in Sudbury were put under a Hold and Secure order because of a possible connection to the the alleged shooter and children attending the schools.

That order was lifted by late afternoon.

The OPP and Anishnawbek Police Service are investigating.
