It’s hands-down the BEST anti-drinking-and-driving commercial I’ve ever seen! British actress Dame Helen Mirren sends home a blunt and brilliant message to anyone considering driving under the influence. #GiveADamn. Watch below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb2VXVmUga4

Mirren was interviewed shortly after the commercial and said, “It’s brilliant they asked me to do it. I was so thrilled…...I think possibly maybe they were slightly confusing me with the Queen?

“They think it’s the Queen sitting there saying those things. I don’t know. I hope not.”

Celine Dion became very emotional while delivering her 1st public speech about late husband René Angélil. Dion paid a touching tribute to the ‘love of her life” and the “only boyfriend I ever had” at a memorial event in Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas. They met when Dion was just 12 years old, and the rest is history. In her speech, Celine talks about how Angélil would shield her from the sometimes-brutal music industry. ‘I was never part of any of the meetings that he had where he had to say yes or no. He protected me from Day one to for the rest of my life, I am pretty sure of that’.
Mortgaging his home to help her career take off with her first album, Rene became her manager and eventually the two told family & fans about their romance, with initial fears of facing criticism for the age gap between the two. The wedding eventually happened, and was broadcast on Canadian TV in December 1994. Just two days before he was to turn 74 years old and soon after the couple’s 21st wedding anniversary, René died from cancer.

“The love of my life … would be so happy to know we are all here together telling stories, sharing memories, playing some of his favorite music. And especially in this beautiful theater which many years ago was one of his dreams come true. I feel his strength and his warmth being reflected in all of you…On behalf of my family, thank you again for being here with us this evening for this beautiful tribute to mon amour. René I love you, so much, merci.”
