Despite all the police presence on Municipal Road 80 over the past several weeks, a young driver still got caught for Stunt Driving.

It was last Saturday afternoon when officers with the Greater Sudbury Police Traffic Management Unit were conducting speed enforcement along the stretch to the valley.

They clocked a small sports car traveling 121-kilometres in the posted 60-zone.

That’s considered Stunt Driving.

The 21-year old male driver was charged, and had both his license and vehicle seized for seven days.

Police have been conducting speed enforcement on MR-80 since a fatal crash on the road in mid January.
