Winter Storm Hits Sudbury

Mother nature has dumped a fresh pile of snow on the region and that is making for hazardous road conditions.

The Texas Low is pushing its way through the province and is expected to move out later tonight, leaving up to 35 centimetres of snowfall.

There are strong gusty winds which has resulted in blowing and drifting snow.

Plows have been out and are working on clearing all the streets and highways.

Police warn motorists to drive according to road conditions, clear snow from vehicle windows and leave plenty of extra time for travel.
