Dave and Lori were highschool sweethearts who later tied the knot in 1983. Doctors told them they wouldn’t be able to have kids as Lori was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, and her illness was getting progressively worse. Her husband is also her primary caregiver who helps shower her and dress her everyday. Despite doctors infertile diagnosis, Lori and Dave were thrilled when they gave birth to three “miracle children” named Valerie, David and Heather. Their son David’s wedding day happened in 2012 and the groom shocked his wedding guests when he sweeps his surprised mom out of her wheelchair to dance together.
